Kelly Bennett


Kelly Bennett began her career at the Los Angeles Times as a Circulation Computer Operations Analyst.  Demonstrating a profound gift for written communications and an uncanny ability to break down complex processes into simple steps, Kelly quickly rose within the ranks at the Times.  Moving into an analyst position before she was even 20, Kelly helped define the requirements and process by which the IT group was able to successfully implement the Integrated Circulation Information System (ICIS), the first of its kind in the country, servicing over one million subscribers.

Bolstered by this success, her entrepreneurial spirit ignited and Kelly started her first company, Bennett Business Services, at the tender age of 22. Providing secretarial services and small assembly services to the entertainment industry, Kelly absorbed the wit, wisdom and knowledge of some of the industry’s greatest leaders in business and marketing, including Michael Eisner and the late “Prince of Print”, Gary Halbert.

As Bennett’s clients came to rely on her speed and efficiency, the company was called upon to provide an ever expanding book of mailing and fulfillment services to a growing list of entertainment companies and, eventually, consumer products firms.

Over the next 26 years the company, her company grew and evolved; first as Bennett Business Services (1984 to 1987), Letter Excellence (1988 to 1990) and finally, P3 Publicity Product Promotion Fulfillment (1990 to 2009). During its evolution, the company experienced continued double digit sales growth, expanded eleven times, employed 180 staff members and was ultimately headquartered in a 239,000 square foot facility. P3 served an impressive client list and built a legendary reputation for customer service and integrity.

Managing the logistics of thousands of campaigns from the point of sale to consumer delivery, Kelly’s hands-on approach to client management and operations provide her with unique insights into the dynamics of fulfillment campaigns for dozens of industries.

Now, leveraging her lifelong experience, Ms. Bennett founded Kelly Direct to help agencies, brands and event marketers realize greater profit from their merchandising, advertising and sales initiatives.  Kelly’s business acumen, entrepreneurial spirit, energy and intense focus on delivering results is of great value to companies of all sizes resulting in fast, efficient, bottom-line focused, ROI-generating campaign strategies and execution.
